ARLINGTON, Texas - The Davenport University Rocket League team is traveling to Arlington, Texas for the CECC (Collegiate Esports Commissioner's Cup) May Madness Tournament May 2nd - May 6th. CECC May Madness is run and operated by CSMG (Collegiate Sports Management Group).  

The Rocket League team gained an auto-qualifying bid to compete at CECC May Madness through their first-place finish in the GLIAC Esports Championship in February. Davenport Rocket League is going into the National Tournament as the ninth seed out of 20 collegiate Rocket League teams, who are from all around the country. The CECC May Madness National Tournament will be held at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Esports Stadium Arlington is the largest Esports facility in North America.

Competition for Davenport's Rocket League team will begin on Friday, May 3rd at 2:30 pm EST and matches will be live streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/esportsu.
