GLIAC -- Justin Grimard of the Davenport University men's golf team was named the GLIAC Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon. The junior secured a first-place finish at the Motor City Shakedown at TPC Michigan on Tuesday (Sept. 30). It marks the first top-place finish of the Qubec, Canada natives intercollegiate career. He finished with a three-round score of 218 (+2), registering 10 birdies in two days of action. As a team, the Panthers finished second at the event, shooting 20 over par (884).

Looking ahead, the Panthers will travel to Chicago, Ill. at the Chicago State Windy City Invitational from Oct. 6-7 at the Harborside International Golf Course.
