GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport enters the week riding momentum after a poised road win last Saturday at McKendree. Behind a double-double from Maddie Geers and late-game execution from Reese Polega, the Panthers held off the Bearcats, 64–61, to earn a quality nonconference victory in Lebanon, Illinois.

The 2022–23 season marked the Panthers' most recent trip to the Sunshine State and just the second time the program has competed in Florida under head coach Shonda Sanders and assistant coach Dominique McBride. Davenport will compete at the ICI Center in Daytona Beach, Fla., as part of the ERAU Holiday Classic, a four-team event featuring Embry-Riddle (Fla.), Rollins and Emmanuel.

Davenport Leaders
  • Geers leads the Panthers in scoring at 13.3 points per game, while also averaging 5.4 rebounds and shooting 76.2 percent from the free-throw line, anchoring Davenport on both ends of the floor.
