Athens, Tenn. - The men's lacrosse team kept up its winning ways as they defeated a very tough and scrappy Misouri Baptist team today 11-3 in Athens, TN. The win improves DU to 2-0 on the year as they will now face host Tennessee Wesleyan in the last of their three game invitational.

After scoring 19 goals in their season opening victory, DU was in for a battle with MBU. Both defenses came to play as the score was tied at two after the first period. The Panthers opened up the scoring with four goals in the 2nd quarter to take a decisive lead and would eventually finish the game off with five unanswered goals to win 11-3.

Jake Stricker was outstanding in the net giving up only 3 goals on 12 shots (75% save percentage).
