LOWELL, Mich. - #2 Davenport rebounded from just their second loss of the year in dominating fashion tonight as they routed Northern Michigan 19-2 at the Lowell Lax Festival on Saturday night. DU is now 12-2 on the year and 2-1 in division play of the CCLA.

After falling in a tough rivalry game on Thursday, the Panthers came out hot and never let up as they cruised to the 19-2 win. Nine different players scored a goal as Davenport scored the first 19 goals of the game and held a 15-0 lead at halftime.

DU was led on offense by All-American Shawn Beer (Aurora, Ontario) and Lyle Parks (Grand Rapids, Mich.) who each scored four goals.

Gavin Morris (Rockford, Mich.) chipped in with three as Oliver Wade (Burlington, Ontario) had two as did Sam Carlson (Grand Rapids, Mich.). All 27 players on the sideline got in the game tonight as DU improves to 12-2 on the year.

DU will finish their regular season against Ferris State and Walsh this week.
