SALINE, Mich. - The Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA) has announced its 2010 postseason tournament bracket and Davenport University will open against Grove City in the #4 vs. #5 matchup on Friday at 4:00 PM. The DAN will broadcast the game live beginning at 3:45 PM.

Davenport University (13-2, 4-1 CCLA) earned the #4 seed in the CCLA Tourney and will take on Grove City (6-2, 3-1 CCLA) on Friday at 4:00 PM. The winner will advance to take on #1 seed Grand Valley State on Saturday at 12:00 PM.

The Davenport Athletics Network (DAN) will cover all of the CCLA tourney games that DU plays in beginning with the quarterfinal game on Friday.

Davenport and Grove City have never met before but have many opponents in common this year. Grove City recently dropped a CCLA game to Dayton 10-7 where the Panthers also fell to the Flyers but by the score of 13-12 on a last second goal.

The other side of the bracket featured Grand Rapids rivals Calvin and Hope in the #3 vs. #6 matchup and the winner of that game will take on #2 seed Dayton. The semifinal winners will meet for an automatic berth to MCLA D2 Nationals on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
