ATLANTA, Ga. - Four different Panthers found the back of the net at least three times on Sunday afternoon as Davenport improved to 4-0 on the year with a convincing 17-5 over Emory College. Freshman Dominic Boggiano tallied four goals and three assists as DU will be in action next on Tuesday at No. 9 Elon.

After an impressive 19-6 win over No. 15 Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday to start the three game trip to the Southeast, the Panthers started a little slow on Sunday.

DU posted only a single goal in the opening period as Cody Cross (Grand Rapids, Mich.) got the Panthers on the board with just 3:06 remaining.  The offense finally came to life in the second though as DU outscored Emory 6-1 to take a 7-1 lead into halftime.

Davenport received goals from Gavin Morris (Rockford, Mich.), Cross, two from Dominic Boggiano (Grand Rapids, Mich.)Oliver Wade (Burlington, Ontario) and Sam Carlson (Grand Rapids, Mich.).

The attack kept growing in the third quarter as Davenport again finished with six goals in the 15 minutes of play compared to only two from Emory as DU took a 13-3 lead into the final quarter.

Davenport finished the game with four goals on the man-up and had a 35-16 advantage in ground-balls.

The Panthers will take on their toughest test up to this point of the season on Tuesday when they meet No. 9 Elon University in North Carolina.  Game time is set for 5:00pm and live stats will be provided.
