GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers responded well from their loss earlier in the week to Grand Valley State with a 22-1 rout of Northern Michigan on Saturday night. Davenport held Northern scoreless for three quarters and twelve players found the back of the net for Davenport in the win. The Panthers will be in action next weekend when they travel to Pennsylvania for a couple games.
Davenport didn't waste any time getting on the board as Shawn Beer (Aurora, Ontario)scored on an assist from Kyle Stelter (Grand Rapids, Mich.)15 seconds into the game. Sam Carlson (Grand Rapids, Mich.)added another goal for the Panthers at the 12:34 mark in the first period to give Davenport a 2-0 lead.
