GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - With one regular season game remaining this Thursday against Ferris State, the Davenport men's lacrosse team moved up one spot in the latest Prodigy MCLA Top 25 Poll. The Panthers, who are 11-4 on the year and have won their division in the CCLA, host the Bulldogs at 7:00pm as it will be aired live on the Davenport Athletics Network (DAN).

Davenport University has one more regular season game remaining but not before they moved up one spot from No. 6 last week to No. 5 this week as voted on by College Lax.  The Panthers, who defeated No. 12 Hope College 20-12 in their only contest last week have already clinched their division in the CCLA.

Head coach Bob Clarkson and his team have their eyes set on a third straight trip to the MCLA D2 National Tournament form May 17-21 just outside of Denver, Colo. The field will be a makeup of conference tournament champions as well as at-large bids from the final poll.

Davenport has an overall record of 11-4 heading into the regular season finale against Ferris State and those four setbacks have come against each of the teams ranked ahead of the Panthers.  Grand Valley remains at No. 1 while St. Thomas, Briarcliffe and North Dakota State are 2-4.

Thursday night's matchup against Ferris State is slated to begin at 7:00pm and will be aired live on the Davenport Athletics Network beginning with the pre-game show at 6:45pm.
