PANTHERS VERSUS WARRIORS: The Panthers have won all three all-time meetings against the Warriors. Last season Davenport held off a stingy Indiana Tech team 16-14 to wrap-up the regular season. With the game tied, Davenport scored three of the last four goals to get the win.
SCOUTING INDIANA TECH: Despite having a 1-4 record the Warriors are ranked No.17 in the latest MCLA division 2 poll. The Warriors have faced stiff competition early on this season. Every opponent has been ranked in the top 20. Indiana Techs four losses came at the hands of No.1 St. Thomas, No.3 St. Johns, No.6 North Dakota State, and No. 14 Liberty. The Lone win for the Warriors was a 18-3 victory over No.20 Washington – St. Louis.
The Warriors attack will be led by Craig Schaepkens and Josh Puckett who lead the team with 15 and 10 goals respectively. In last week's win over Washington – St. Louis senior Craig Schaepkens finished with six goals, three assists, and five groundballs garnering WHAC Player of the Week honors while junior Josh Puckett tallied five goals.
PANTHERS VERSUS CLAN: This is the first meeting between Davenport and Simon Fraser.
SCOUTING SIMON FRASER: Simon Fraser enters the weekend rankled No.25 in the MCLA division one poll with a 5-4 record. The Clan are coming off of a 11-9 win over No.19 Virginia Tech back on March 12 which snapped a three game losing streak.
Simon Fraser will be attacking with a balance scoring attack. The Clan have five players with more than 10 goals on the season led by Colton Dow with 20 and Same Clare with 18.
