GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's draw came to a close on Saturday afternoon as the doubles tandem of Sam Rogerson and Matheus Moreira de Carvalho fell in the semifinals to the team of Johnson/Dubuque from Indiana Wesleyan. It was another successful weekend at the USTA/ITA Midwest regional as the team will now head back to duel matches when they host Lake Superior State next Sunday at the Farmers Athletic Complex.

The final day of the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional saw some great action in the singles and doubles draws but unfortunately the Panthers were unable to come up with a win in the two open flights or two consolation flights.

Matheus Moreira de Carvalho and partner Sam Rogerson fell in the open draw's semifinals to the team of Johnson and Dubuque from Indiana Wesleyan.

Carvalho also played in the consolation singles draw but fell in the semifinals to White of Indiana Wesleyan.

Davenport will host Lake Superior State next Sunday at the Farmers Athletic Complex. The match is slated for a 10 a.m. start.
