BOULDER, Colo. – After suffering an 11-9 setback to No. 6 Colorado State to open their trip out west on Thursday, the No. 15 ranked men's lacrosse team fell to No. 2 Colorado today by the final of 16-4. The Buffaloes improve to 7-2 while the Panthers drop to 4-2 on the season. Davenport will have one more game in Colorado and it will come on Sunday at 2 p.m. EST when they face University of Nevada at Las Vegas in Boulder.

Davenport had no answer for one of the top ranked teams in the country as Colorado made quick work of the Panthers in a 16-4 rout in Boulder on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers have now lost back to back games to the two teams that played in last year's MCLA DI National Championship game.

Davenport will look to rebound and come home with at least one win when they take to the field on Sunday against UNLV. The game is set for 2 p.m. EST.
