GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's lacrosse will return home on Friday when they host Minnesota-Duluth. The Panthers are returning home after a three game road trip in Colorado. Davenport went 0-3 on the trip after facing No. 2 Colorado, No. 6 Colorado State and #RV UNLV. DU enters the weekend 4-3 on the season. Faceoff for the Panthers game against the Bulldogs is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Friday on the DU Turf Field and the game will be broadcast on the Davenport Athletic Network.

The Bulldogs enter the matchup with a 4-2 record and sit at No. 24 in the most recent MCLA Polls. Minnesota-Duluth is coming off a 20-1 win over UMLC foe St. Could State and is currently on a three game win streak. Leading the team in points this season is Justin Vossen who has tallied 19 points thus far. The Bulldogs have spread out their offensive attack as they three players with ten goals, and in net Jared Klapperich and Andrew Blaeser have split time as both players have appeared in five games.

Davenport is currently on a three game losing streak after dropping all three games on the trip out to Colorado and is now 4-3 on the season. After the teams trip out to Colorado, they dropped six spots in the MCLA polls and are now ranked 21st. Dominic Boggiano is leading the team in points and goals with 35 and 24, respectively. Parker Horvath leads the team with 14 assists and has also chipped with 14 goals for the team. Bill Linhardt has been the main stay in net for DU playing in six of the seven games. The senior net minder has a .560 save percentage while picking up 13 groundballs.
 
The Panthers will host 24th ranked Minnesota-Duluth on Friday on the DU Turf Field with the faceoff for the game set for 7:30 p.m.
