GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off an impressive 22-2 victory over Toledo this past weekend, the Davenport men's lacrosse team (3-4) will stay in state to host both Colorado and Colorado State this Saturday and Sunday at Seaholm High School in Birmingham. Saturday's contest is slated to begin at 7 p.m., while Sunday's game will start at 2 p.m.

Scouting ColoradoColorado comes into Saturday's contest ranked number three in the country, but is on a two-game losing skid as they dropped their last two games against number one Grand Canyon and number five Chapman. The Buffaloe's have many weapons to choose from, starting with senior Jace Gan, who leads Buffalo with 21 goals and 29 total points. John Clayton is second on the team in goals scored with 18, and total points with 28. Eight different Buffaloes have recorded double-digit points so far this season.
Scouting Colorado State Colorado State stands at a 6-4 record on the season so far, coming off a huge 15-12 victory against number five Chapman. Sophomore Ashton Monheiser leads the Rams with 29 total points, including 21 goals and 23 ground balls. Between the posts, sophomore David Salamie has posted a 6-4 record, recording a 7.1 goals allowed average and a .562 saves percentage. The Rams are currently ranked number eight in the MCLA polls.
