Box Score 2 AMHERST, N.Y. – The Davenport men's lacrosse team split a pair of games in Amherst, N.Y. over the weekend, now sitting at a record of 2-3 as their six-game road stretch comes to an end. The Panthers defeated New Hampshire 11-6 on Saturday, but fell to the University of Buffalo earlier this afternoon by a score of 10-4.
Devon Benson and
Jack Turcotte led the way for Davenport, netting four goals apiece on the weekend. The Panthers will play their first game in the state of Michigan next Sunday as they take on Boston College at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.

In Saturday's game vs. the Wildcats, Davenport never trailed in any part of the game as they defeated New Hampshire 11-6. Senior
Parker Horvath led the way tallying 7 points on three goals and four assists. Senior
Jack Turcotte also netted three goals as well, while
Devon Benson scored two goals and racked up four ground balls.

It was a different story in Sunday's contest vs. Buffalo as the Panthers lost their third game of the year by a score of 10-4. Benson knocked in two more goals in the loss, while Turcotte recorded another goal as well as freshman
Jon Nykamp who also recorded a goal in both weekend contests.

Logan Poe got the start at goaltender for Davenport
The Panthers take on Boston College next Sunday at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
