GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After winning a nail biter in Tuesday's contest against Grand Valley State, The no. 20 Davenport men's lacrosse will carry a six game winning streak into Urbana, Ill. this weekend as they shift their focus to no. 19 Minnesota Duluth and the University of Illinois. Saturday's game against the Bulldogs starts at 7 p.m. and Sunday's contest against Illinois starts promptly at 3 p.m.

The PanthersThe Panthers this year are led by freshman
Bryan Larocque, who leads the team in goals (48) and total points (61), and is second on the team in assists with 13. Larocque has recorded three or more goals in a staggering eight out of the nine contests, earning a WHAC Player of the Week honor in the process.
Senior
Parker Horvath leads the Panthers in assists with 17, and is second behind Larocque in goals scored (28) and total points (45).
Junior
Logan Poe has gotten the start in every game of the Panthers' six-game winning streak, and owns a .490 save percentage to go along with a 8.49 goals against average.
Week 8 RankingsThe Panthers went from unranked three weeks ago, to sitting in the 20
th spot of this week's MCLA polls, one spot behind Saturday's opponent in Minnesota-Duluth. Grand Canyon has held down the number one spot for the fourth straight week, while Chapman has worked its way all the way up to the number two spot. Conference rival Michigan State is the only other CCLA team to place in the top 25, as they come in at no. 18.
