The Panthers
The Panthers had a tough weekend last week as their six-game winning streak came to an end after a pair of losses to Minnesota-Duluth (10-5) and the University of Illinois (10-9). Bryan Larocque comes into Saturday's contest with a team high 50 goals and 63 total points. Senior Parker Horvath is second on the team in goals scored (30) and total points (49), but leads the team in assists with 19.

The Matchup
This will be the first time the Panthers and Spartans square off against eacother since last year's thrilling conference championship in which Davenport came up just short by a score of 11-10, failing to qualify for the national tournament.

Michigan State (6-5) owns a 3-1 record all-time against Davenport, and along with the Panthers, are a perfect 4-0 in the CCLA division this year. The Winner of Saturday's contest will earn a number one overall seed in next week's conference tournament that will be held at the University of Pittsburgh.
