The Panthers

The Panthers had a big weekend last week as they hosted two top eight teams in no. 3 Colorado and no. 8 Colorado State in Birmingham, Mich., dropping their first game against Colorado by a score of 14-10, but upsetting Colorado State by a score of 8-7. After Sunday's big win, the Panthers found themselves back into the top 25 of the MCLA Polls, ranked 24th overall with a 4-5 record. Four out of the five Panther losses have come against top 15 opponents.

Freshman Bryan Larocque has turned a lot of heads this year so far as he leads the team with 21 goals scored and 31 total points. He is also second on the team in assists with 10, just three behind Parker Horvath's 13. Horvath is also second the team in total points with 24. Devon Benson and Jack Turcotte are tied for second in goals scored with 14 a piece, and Kyle Oswald's 25 ground balls are good for a team high as well.

WHAC Championship

Saturday's WHAC Championship match dates all the way back to October when Davenport hosted a WHAC tournament involving Lourdes and Aquinas, as the Panthers defeated both teams to earn a title match with Indiana Tech. Indiana Tech. clinched a spot in the championship game by defeating Siena Heights 11-10 in a thriller.

Saturday's WHAC Championship game starts at 6 p.m. Saturday night, following the consolidation match between Lourde and Siena Heights, which will also be held on the DU Turf Field
