Larocque’s Six Goals Fuels No. 24 Men’s Lacrosse Past Western Michigan

VICKSBURG, Mich. – Bryan Larocque led all Panthers with six goals, while Parker Horvath and Joe Lopez also chipped in two scores as the no. 24 Davenport men's lacrosse team defeated Western Michigan at Vicksburg high school Friday night. The Panthers (5-5) will hop right back into action tomorrow night as they make their DU Turf Field debut by hosting Indiana Tech. for the WHAC Championship. Opening face-off is set for 6 p.m., following the consolidation match between Lourdes and Siena Heights.
 
Larocque's six scores now give him a team high 27 on the season, improving his overall point total to 37 (also a team high). Jack Faulkner also found the back of the net, giving him 10 goals on the season.
 
Senior Jack Turcotte was the fourth Panther with double multiple points, tallying a goal and an assist. His goal gives him 15 on the season, good enough for second on the team.
 
Logan Poe got the start between the posts, coming up with seven saves on thirteen shots on goal.
