Liberty came into the game as one of the hottest offenses in the country. That certainly showed in the first 15 minutes, as the Flames put up seven goals. Davenport came out with a better second quarter, scoring three goals of their own. Yet, four more from Liberty sent the Panthers into the half trailing by seven.
Liberty certainly did not let up in the third quarter, as they were able to put five more goals past DU's Ben Stoklas. In the fourth quarter, Davenport outscored the Flames by a margin of four goals to three. However, it was too little too late, as the Panthers fell to Liberty by a final score of 19-10.
