CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – After a short regular season, the D1 Hockey team traveled down to Missouri for another crack at the ACHA National Tournament as the no. 15-seed. They looked to cause a stir and upset the undefeated no. 2 team in the country in Robert Morris University.
However, it was not meant to be. The Colonials got out in front early, and despite the Panthers hanging with Robert Morris early on, Robert Morris held the Panther offense at bay, and found themselves moving on in the tournament.

However, the Colonials answered back just over a minute later with a goal from Camron Smith. Then, to further extended their lead, Robert Morris scored twice in the final minute.
