GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Head coach
Jeremy Bultema is no stranger to Davenport ACHA hockey, but his role now is in the top spot on the top team behind the bench for the Panthers. Entering his first season as head coach for the Division I ACHA program, he will be tasked with getting the Panthers back into the national tournament as the team's primary goal. Davenport was a fixture in the nationals for a number of years, having made 10 straight postseason appearances beginning in 2010-11 and ending in 2020-21. The drought will be tougher than ever as Davenport plays a challenging schedule including their second year in the rugged Great Lakes 6 Conference.
The good news is that the team has a strong veteran presence with a total of eight seniors/grad students on the roster.
Robert McLaughlin is back for his fifth season and has played 129 career games for the Panthers. He has a total of 52 goals and 54 assists and ranks eighth in all-time goals scored at Davenport.
Brendan Bauer enters his fourth season on the team and in 86 career games has 36 goals and 50 assists.
Noah Bradburn is also entering his fourth seasona at DU and has put together 23 goals and 20 assists in 96 games.
Ryan Blackburn provides depth on the forward lines with 83 games played and totals of 14 goals and 43 assists.
Peter Stojcevski has put together back-to-back, 27-point seasons including 10 goals and 17 assists last year.
Taber Gutschick highlights the defense with 69 career games in two seasons with eight goals and 26 assists.
Branwen Pollett has 61 career games under his belt with 11 goals and 20 assists.
Junior
Ryder McMillen saw his game rise another level in 2024-25. He scored four times in 2023-24 and increased his goal total to 18 last season to go along with 15 assists. In terms of goaltending, junior
Kyler Lowden will be the number one option and has shared time in net over the past two seasons with
Nathan Gauthier. Lowden posted a 2.71 goals-against average and .920 save percentage to lead the team last season. He has 18 wins in his career with 1,033 saves. Junior
Paul Jarvis and freshman
Reid Ramsay will provide depth between the pipes.
