GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University men's lacrosse team will open the 2024 campaign at Tiffin University in a road match against the Dragons.

A dozen Panthers were named to the 2023 GLVC Academic All-Conference honors, with Jayden Ashley being named GLVC Freshman of the Year and James Johnston named to the Springs CSC Academic All-District list.

Increasing their roster size in the offseason, the Panthers look ahead to clinching a spot in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament after falling short by one spot the last two seasons with a 5-8 record in both 2022 and 2023.

Selected No. 8 in the GMAC Preseason Poll, Tiffin embarks on its inaugural season for men's lacrosse. The 29-man roster is led by head coach Travis Brown and assistant coach Ryan Stow.

The Dragons are one of two teams to be a part of the 2024 GMAC men's lacrosse expansion, joined by Thomas More University.

DU and Tiffin will look to come out on top of the first-ever meeting between the teams at Paradiso Athletic Fields in Tiffin, Ohio.
