Panthers Place Sixth at SVSU Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Davenport University men's golf team finished tied for sixth out of 21 teams at the SVSU Spring Invitational this weekend at the Kearney Hill Golf Links golf course. The Panthers ended the weekend shooting 585 (+9) as a team through two rounds of play.

Brandon Bodis and Aiden Deng led the Panthers on the weekend, each finishing tied for 18th overall, shooting one over par (145). Bodis had a low round of 71 on the second day, while Deng shot a 69 in the first round.

Zach Hay finished with a two-round score of 146 (+2), ending the tournament tied for 23rd overall. The senior finished with a 73 in both the first and second rounds.

Finishing 52nd for the Panthers was Foster Faber, registering a final score of 151 (+6). Rounding things out for DU was Noah Bridgeman, shooting 155 (+11), which ranked 89th in the tournament.

The Panthers will return to action on March 25-26 at the Findlay Spring Invitational in Richmond, Ky. at the Boone's Trace National Golf Club.
