Panthers Secure Top-Five Finish at Findlay Spring Invitational

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Davenport University men's golf team placed fourth at the Findlay Spring Invitational at the Boone's Trace National Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday (March 25-26). As a team, the Panthers shot 14 over par with a three-round score of 878.

Aiden Deng led the Panthers, finishing the event tied for 11th overall. The sophomore shot 216 (even) with a low round of 70 in the second.

Foster Faber had his best finish of the season for DU, tying for 15th overall in the tournament. The Hudsonville, Mich. native had a low round of 71 in the second, while ending one over par with a three-round score of 217.

Placing tied for 29th overall for the Panthers was Brandon Bodis, shooting 222 (+5). The graduate had his best round in the second, shooting 72.

Rounding things out for Davenport was Zach Hay (T-43) shooting 225 (+9) and Cayden Kwan (T-76) shooting 237 (+21).

The Panthers will head to Noblesville, Ind. for the Greyhound Invitational from April 7-9 at the Purgatory Golf Club.
