Panthers Finish 6th at GLIAC Championships

AUGUSTA, Mich. - The Davenport University men's golf team concluded its 2023-24 campaign this past weekend (April 12-13) at the GLIAC Championships at the Stoatin Brae Golf Club. The Panthers ended the tournament placing sixth of nine squads, shooting 602 (+34) through two rounds.

Leading the way for DU was Brandon Bodis, shooting 146 (+4), finishing tied for eighth overall. The graduate had a low round of 72, registering four birdies through two rounds of action.

Foster Faber finished tied for 25th, finishing through two rounds of play with a score of 152 (+10). His low round on the weekend was 75 in the second, recording two birdies through the 18 holes.

Finishing tied for 33rd was Noah Bridgeman, shooting 12 over par (154) through two rounds. The senior racked up four birdies with a low round of 76 in the first.

Rounding things out for the Panthers was Zach Hay, tying for 35th overall with a score of 156, while Aiden Deng tied for 38th, shooting a two-round score of 157.
