Panthers Conclude 2023-24 Season at NCAA Regionals

EDMOND, Okla. - The Davenport University men's golf team ended its 2023-24 season this past weekend (May 9-11) at the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional Tournament at the KickingBird Golf Course. The Panthers ended with a three-round score of 849, which was nine strokes over par, and tied for 11th best out of 20 teams. It was the third straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the program.

Individually, Noah Bridgeman was the top performer for DU, shooting 209 (-1) on the weekend, ranked tied for 23rd overall. The senior registered 14 birdies throughout the 54 holes and had a low round of 68 on the first day

Aiden Deng was two strokes behind Bridgeman, shooting 211 (+1) and finishing tied for 34 overall. The sophomore had a low round of 69 in the third while recording 12 birdies through the three-day tournament.

Finishing at 39th overall for the Panthers was Foster Faber, shooting 212 (+2) through three rounds of action. The sophomore ended the weekend on a high note, shooting a 68 in the final round, which was two under par.

Rounding things out for DU were Brandon Bodis and Zach Hay. Bodis shot 221 (+11), finishing tied for 87th overall, while Hay ended with a three-round score of 229 (+19)
