GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2025 GLIAC Cross Country Championships concluded Saturday afternoon at the scenic and hilly Gainey Athletic Facility, marking Davenport's first time hosting the event. The Panthers finished 11th (336) on the women's side and 7th (176) for the men's team.
The meet featured 11 programs — Davenport, Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan, Purdue Northwest, Roosevelt, Saginaw Valley State, Wayne State, and Parkside. Grand Valley earned first place in both the men's and women's races.
For Davenport,
Cierra Guay led the women's team with a 91st-place finish (25:56.10), followed closely by
Adrianna Soria in 96th (25:51.50) among 109 runners.
