KENOSHA, Wis. - The Davenport University men's and women's cross country teams closed out their 2025 seasons on Saturday (Nov. 9) at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships, hosted by Wisconsin–Parkside at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
On the women's side,
Cierra Guay led the Panthers with a 174th-place finish in 25:36.98, followed by
Adrianna Soria, who placed 180th with a time of 26:07.79 in the 6,000-meter race. Grand Valley State claimed the regional title, placing five runners inside the top 10 to take the crown with 25 points, while Cedarville and Lewis rounded out the top three.
In the men's 10,000-meter race,
Jordan Domany made program history, finishing 30th overall with a time of 31:39.92 to set a new school record and post the highest regional finish ever by a Panther. Sophomores
Luke Oyster and
Lucas Van Meter also impressed in their first-ever 10K, clocking the fifth and ninth-fastest times in program history, respectively. Oyster placed 86th at 32:44.00, followed closely by
Rogan Melling (119th, 33:24.50) and Van Meter (120th, 33:27.32).
Nikolas Shilling (142nd, 34:07.58) and
Matthew Nowak (169th, 34:53.30) rounded out Davenport's finishers.
With cross country season wrapped up, a number of Panthers will transition to the indoor track and field season, while others conclude their fall competition schedule.
