KENOSHA, Wis. – Beginning at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT), the Davenport women's cross country team will compete in the 6K race, followed by the men's first 10K of the season at 12:15 p.m. ET (11:15 a.m. CT). Both races will take place at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course, located on the rolling, wooded 700-acre campus between Kenosha and Racine in southeastern Wisconsin — a scenic but challenging venue.

Head coach Scott Cook noted, "Many of our student-athletes have never run here before. It is a tough, challenging course." The Panthers last competed on the Rangers' home course in 2022, also for the NCAA Midwest Regional.

The top three teams and the top two individual runners not on a qualifying team will advance to the NCAA Championships.

Cook highlighted the consistent performances of Jordan Domany, who has led the Panthers throughout the season. "Jordan has led us all year, and it would not surprise me if he put a big race together and put himself in position to qualify for the NCAA Championships," Cook said.

Looking at the preparation side leading up to this meet, Cook emphasized the importance of recovery and mindset at this stage of the season. "Being this late in the season, the work is done," he said. "It's just a matter of staying fresh and confident heading into our last meets."
