ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — With the Panthers' last meet taking place nearly a month ago, Davenport returns to action at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, Oct. 11, with the women's race set for 9:45 a.m. CT and the men's race following at 10:30 a.m. CT. 

The meet will feature more than 35 schools and over 200 runners, making it a key event for regional and conference rankings ahead of the GLIAC Championships on Oct. 25. 

Jordan Domany has been a standout performer for the Panthers, capturing first place in each of the team's last two meets — the Diemer Classic and Lansing Invitational. Domany, along with Luke Oyster, Luca Van Meter, and Rogan Melling, all placed in the top five of the men's 8K at the Lansing Invitational, helping DU earn a first-place team finish. The men's team also recorded a second-place finish at the Diemer Classic on Sept. 13 and a third-place finish at the Jeff Drenth Memorial on Aug. 29.

On the women's side, sophomore Alyssa Butterfield continues to lead the Panthers, placing 22nd in both the Jeff Drenth Memorial and the Diemer Classic and finishing 15th at the Lansing Invitational. Butterfield has been the first Davenport runner to cross the line in each of the team's three meets and looks to extend that streak this weekend at Lewis.
