Panthers Fall 8-4 to Lake Erie

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University men's lacrosse team dropped its first game in over a month, falling 8-4 on Wednesday at the DU Turf Field.

It was a tightly contested first half between the two squads, Jayden Ashley scored the Panther's () first goal of the day 8:25 into the first period, tying the game 1-1.

Dawson Gillette and Seve Cordero each found the back of the net to close the first half, tying the game 4-4 heading into halftime. However, The Storm () outscored the Panthers 4-0 in the second half.

Antonio Hart spent all 60 minutes in net for DU, accumulating 10 saves.

Offensively, Gillette, Cordero, Ashley and Logan Flaherty all scored in the loss. Ty Woods had the only Davenport assist on the evening.
