Four Panthers Named Second Team All-G-MAC

G-MAC – Jayden Ashley, Luke Eichbauer, Logan Flaherty and Tyler Burd of the Davenport University men's lacrosse team have all been named Second Team All-Conference by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Leading the Panthers offense in 2025 was Ashley, finishing with a team-high 48 points and a team-high 32 goals. The junior also was tied for the most assists on the team with 16, while scooping up 28 ground balls on the season. The attack scored in 13 of 15 games, scoring three or more goals in four games. In his best game of the season, Ashley recorded eight points (six goals and two assists in an 18-11 win over Malone (March 11). 

Eichbauer finished fourth on the squad in goals with 20, while ranking third in assists with 15. The junior also tallied 19 ground balls and six ground balls in 2025. In his best game of the season, Eichbauer recorded a career-high nine points (three goals and six assists) against Quincy (Feb. 8). The Rockford, Mich. native scored three or more goals three times in 2025. 

Flaherty left his mark on the record books for DU in his junior campaign. The Southfield, Mich. native finished the year with a school record 201 ground balls while also posting the best faceoff win percentage (.674)  in a single season in Davenport history. He also set a new school record for ground balls in a game, picking up 23 in a 20-9 victory over Northwood (April 22). Flaherty played and started in all 15 games, adding four goals and three assists.

In his second season with DU, Burd stepped up as one of the top defenders on the squad. He led the team in caused turnovers (34) and ranked second in ground balls (53). He played in all 15 games and started in 14 of those. He scored his first career goal against Maryville on Feb. 15. The sophomore capped the season off with a career-high six caused turnovers against Wheeling (April 26).
