PREVIEW: Panthers Continue G-MAC Action on the Road

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University men's lacrosse team is set to return to action this weekend, heading to Walsh on Saturday, March 21.

The Panthers have been on a generational run of G-MAC Athlete of the Week nods, earning the award five times this season. Sean House has been named Defensive Player of the Week twice, including two weeks ago after a 14-save, eight groundball performance.

Charlie Fritz earned Offensive Player of the Week honors on March 2, after helping guide the squad to a 17-7 win over Wheeling. He had a team-high and a career-high seven points, scoring four goals and dishing out three assists. In addition, Fritz added four ground balls and caused turnover in the win as DU won their GMAC opener.

On the season, Ashley leads the offense with 34 points, 29 goals and five assists. His 4.14 goals per game rank third in the country and lead the G-MAC.
