GLIAC — Drew Matyunas, senior forward for the Davenport University men's soccer team, earned GLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping the Panthers earn a 1-0 shutout victory over Aquinas in a unique two-way performance.

Matyunas started the match in the field and played the first 18 minutes, recording an assist on the Panthers' lone goal of the match. He then made the unusual transition to goalkeeper, playing the final 53 minutes and making four saves to preserve the 1-0 shutout. The performance marked Matyunas' first time playing goalkeeper for Davenport and highlighted his versatility by making an impact at both ends of the field.
