GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University today announced that Women's Basketball Coach Mark Youngs resigned for personal reasons.  Assistant Coach Kelly Wandel will serve as Interim Coach for the program as the University immediately launches a national search to hire a new Head Coach.

Mark Youngs was one of the first two head coaches hired by the University in 2002-03 when the school decided to re-start the athletic program.  Over the last nine seasons, he has led the Lady Panthers to five Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) titles and a national runner-up finish in the 2010-11 season.
