Post-Game Quotes – Head Coach Mike Williams, Karli Harris and Karlee Despres
Mike Williams, thoughts on game: “We played a very good team, they've won nine in a row and they beat Concordia. Their four guards are really good and good as a package and they really gave us fits trying to guard them. We beat a really good team tonight in my opinion.”
Karli Harris on close games and how that will help in future: “Our first really close game was in Chicago, the overtime win, then last weekend at Madonna, and again tonight. It will help us tremendously come tournament time. In the tournament, the regular season doesn't matter, every team is in it. Teams will be coming at us and we are going to be in these pressure situation and we'll know how to handle it and how to respond.”
Karlee Despres on getting 1,000 career points: “It's exciting, I know when I see my family it will feel a lot more real. I think ultimately it just proves how good of a team we have. I can't get those points without good passes and the whole package. Overall, if we can get that national championship at the end that will be a whole lot better.”
