The Davenport Report – 5-0, 1-0 WHAC
Davenport is coming off a 110-59 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory at Marygrove last Saturday. Alison Bouman and Alex Law led the way for the Panthers with 16 points each. Tiesha Stokes had 12 points, Kia Frazier and Brittany Johnson both added 11 and freshman Kelcie Haizlip earned 10 to round out the Panthers who recorded double digits. The Panthers also combined for a season-best 56 percent from the field. Davenport also shot 35 percent from 3-point range with Law connecting four.

Sibling Rivalry
Davenport and Cornerstone will be adding a special ingredient to their rivalry this season as Davenport's Kristina Cousins will face her twin sister Katelyn for the first time in the collegiate ranks. Katelyn has played two seasons for the Golden Eagles while Kristina has returned to the Panthers after a three-year absence.

A Quick at Cornerstone – 3-3, 0-2 WHAC – Head coach Katie Mattera
The Golden Eagles got off to a great start with three straight wins, highlighted by an upset at No. 21 Purdue Calumet, but have recently lost their rhythm with three straight setbacks. Recently, they suffered a 73-65 defeat at No. 16 Siena Heights in the WHAC opener last Wednesday and to Northwestern Ohio 62-60 three days later. As Katie Mattera is in the second season of her coaching career, she has been looking to replace last year's NAIA All-America honorable mention and graduated senior Robyn Veltkamp. Although Katelyn Cousins has been leading the team in points per game (19.8), Jill Hendrickson is averaging 15.5 points and is pacing the Golden Eagles with 8.2 rebounds per game.
