Next DU event: College of the Ozarks – NAIA Division II National Tournament Fab Four (Tyson Events Center, Sioux City, Iowa) – Monday, March 17 – 9 p.m. EDT (ESPN3)

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Alison Bouman scored 18 points and 11 rebounds for the only double-double, Tiesha Stokes added 14 points to reach the millennium mark in her career and Kia Frazier tallied 10 as the starting trio helped the second-ranked and No. 1 seed Davenport women's basketball team ignite a second-half run to post a 70-52 win over No. 2 seed Hastings to reach its third NAIA Fab Four appearance in four years Saturday night. The Panthers will face the College of the Ozarks (Mo.) Monday on ESPN3 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Kayleigh VanKeulen was also productive off the bench as the junior had nine points. Alex Law reached new heights by making two 3-point baskets to tie Jen Rausch's 2004-05 single-season record of 86. The sophomore finished the day with eight points including a layup that played a key role to a 19-4 run that made the difference in the contest.

Stokes, a sophomore from Grand Rapids, joined an elite club as she got the 13 points she needed to become the 12th member of the 1,000 career points list.

The Panthers (34-1) went on to combine for a 46.7 shooting percentage (28-for-60) from the field while being held to only two 3-pointers in six attempts.

Despite holding the Broncos (28-6) to a 31.3 field goal percentage (21-for-67), the Panthers had no answer to Jamie Van Kirk, who put 23 points on the board including 16 in the first half. Van Kirk was the only Bronco to reach double figures.

Both teams changed the lead twice in the first half including a last second layup by the Broncos to head into halftime tied 30 apiece. Davenport led by as many as 12 in the first half while Hastings never led more than two.

After a game of cat-and-mouse with the scoreboard, Shaina Johnson's 2-pointer was the offensive spark the Panthers needed to start the 19-4 run to take a 63-50 lead.
