ALLENDALE, Mich. - The track and field teams had their third consecutive indoor meet at Grand Valley State's Kelly Family Sports Center competing in the Mike Lints Open. The big storyline coming from this meet was that four NCAA national marks were hit during the day.

Isaiah Schafer set a school record in the shot put (60' 4") which came on his third attempt. He won the event and also established the third-best throw in NCAA Division II this season. Claude Ockert was the next in hit a provisional mark in the weight throw finishing sixth with a toss of 58' 11.5". Noah Dooley in the 60-meter dash also set a school record with a time of 6.86 seconds and won the event. Dooley also set a personal best in the long jump winning that event with a distance of 23' 3.25". Lisa Wangler in the weight throw finished third with a throw of 56' 11.5" and her provisional mark is currently 21st in Division II.
