GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers wrapped up a two-week stretch of away games with mixed results, splitting their most recent contests against Roosevelt and Parkside. DU picked up a 73-57 win over the Lakers before falling 76-58 to the Rangers.
Senior forward Ellie Toney delivered one of her best offensive performances of the 2025–26 season, totaling 39 points on the week (20 against Roosevelt and 19 versus Parkside). She also added 10 assists, 11 rebounds, a block, and two steals across the two games.
Sophomore transfer Maddie Geers contributed 30 points for the week, along with 10 rebounds, two assists, four blocks, and three steals. Meanwhile, Anna Axtell continued her strong 3-point shooting in the win over Roosevelt, going 4-of-7 from beyond the arc and totaling 25 points on the week.
Davenport has already faced both of these GLIAC opponents earlier this season. In early January, the Panthers fell to #12 Northern Michigan, 73-46, and then lost a close battle to Michigan Tech, 71-65. This week, Davenport will look to flip the script.
