Three Panthers set school history at Lewis Crossover Invite

Domany, Nelson, and Dennis make program history with record times

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Davenport University cross country team participated in the Lewis Crossover Invite for their final regular season competition of the season as two men's runners set school history with finishing times.

The men's team finished 22nd overall out of 31 teams, with Jordan Domany leading the Panthers in 88th place for a score of 87 points (25:18.6), Domany setting a school record with his clocked time.

"The men had a solid day against a loaded field that featured 10 top-30 teams in the nation. Jordan Domany led the way with the second fastest time in school history, followed by Jacob Dennis with the third fastest time in DU history," said head coach Scott Cook.

Erin Dorn was the first runner to finish for the women's side with a time of 22:43.6, tallying a score of 70 points, marking Domany and Dorn as the only two Panthers to finish in the top-100 runners in their respective races.

"The women were led by Erin Dorn in a race that also featured many of the top teams in (NCAA) Division II," Cook said. "Scout Nelson was second on the team posting the second fastest time in program history...All together the team posted 12 personal records."
